Many classroom and school grants are won or lost in the first draft. The ideas are usually good. What is missing is a clear structure for presenting them. That is why I created Grant Writing 101, a five resource bundle that takes a project from an idea to a finished application.

The bundle walks you through the process in order. A 16 point Grant Readiness Checklist helps you decide whether your project is ready to apply before you spend hours writing. A Need Statement Template guides you through the opening paragraph of your application in four simple sentences. A SMART Goals Worksheet shows how to turn a wish into a measurable objective. A Grant Budget Template with a sample narrative covers both the line item table and the explanation funders expect. A Complete Sample Grant Proposal then puts all of it together in one worked example, a classroom reading library project from need statement through evaluation plan.

The bundle includes a cover page and a table of contents, and it is delivered as digital PDF downloads. It is designed for individual teachers, PTO boards, instructional coaches who are leading a grant writing session for staff, and schools that want to build their own grant writing skills. The bundle is priced at $14.40 at the time of this post, compared with $16 if the five resources are bought separately.

These resources give you a structure and a worked example. They do not write the application for you, and they do not guarantee funding. If your school or organization needs more support, our grant consulting services are described on our Offerings page.

You can find the bundle in the Curriculum by TAB store on Teachers Pay Teachers.
